Cassotide 50 mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-cancer medicine used in men along with other specific agents for the treatment of prostate cancer. cassotide 50mg is not recommended for use in females, children, and adolescents.
Uses of Cassotide 50 mg Tablet
- Prostate cancer
bicalutamide uses in the treatment of prostate cancer along with a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist such as leuprolide or goserelin.
How to use Cassotide Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cassotide 50 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If bicalutamide 50 mg dosage is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Pregnancy – This medicine is not recommended for use in women.
Breast-feeding – This medicine is not recommended for use in women.
Use in females – This medicine is not recommended for use in female patients.
Use in pediatrics – This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents.
Diabetes Mellitus – The combination of Cassotide 50 mg Tablet and GnRH agonists should be used with caution in patients with a history of diabetes mellitus due to the increased risk of elevated blood glucose levels. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels is recommended for these patients.
Contraception – Effective contraception methods must be used during treatment with this medicine and until 130 days after stopping the therapy.

Before taking bicalutamide 50 mg price , tell your doctor if you have any liver disease.Bicalutamide may cause serious liver dysfunction (with symptoms of abdominal pain, anorexia, dark urine, fatigue, jaundice, nausea, vomiting).
Stop taking Bicalutamide and call your doctor if you experience any such symptoms.If you have an objective progression of disease together with elevated PSA, seek immediate medical advice, as you may have to stop bicalutamide treatment.
You should not take this medicine if you have rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
